Los diez vehículos servirán para patrullaje de la PNP y fiscalización de locales nocturnos.
La Asociación para el Desarrollo Agropecuario Sostenible (ADAS) entregó 10 camionetas, por un plazo de 90 días, a la Municipalidad Provincial de Virú, para reforzar los trabajos de patrullaje y fiscalización de locales nocturnos, que realiza la Policía Nacional, como parte del trabajo emprendido contra la inseguridad ciudadana.
Esta acción, que busca sumar esfuerzos para disminuir el índice de criminalidad en la ciudad viruñera, se suma a la reciente llegada de 100 agentes Dinoes y 30 inteligencia, logrando un trabajo conjunto entre la empresa privada y sus autoridades, en beneficio de la población.
«Queremos ver a los niños y adultos mayores disfrutar de la paz que se merecen. Tenemos claro que trabajando de la mano vamos a lograr que Virú crezca», indicó la gerente general de ADAS, Ursula Maclean Cuadros.
Por su parte, el alcalde provincial de Virú, Javier Mendoza Torres, agradeció la iniciativa de ADAS y destacó su disposición para ayudar a la comunidad, considerándola, incluso, para la creación de una división policial.
“Cada vez que se le toca la puerta a ADAS, siempre están prestos a apoyar. Gracias a este tipo de ayuda es que lograremos hacer realidad proyectos como la creación de la División Policial de Virú, que cuente con más de 200 efectivos”.
Finalmente, se resaltó que, con la presencia de todos los aliados se logrará convertir a esta ciudad en la más segura de La Libertad, porque es Virú una potencia agroexportadora, que genera más de 140 mil puestos de trabajo, gracias a las empresas agroindustriales, y más de 2 mil millones de dólares para el Perú en ingresos por agroexportación.
